Application Process For New Organisation Members - Schools

Benefits for Organisation Members include:

  • Members will be affiliated with WTQA.

  • Organisation members are eligible to have the following details listed on the WTQA Instructor Listing pages: their school name, disciplines taught, locations, contact details, website link, social media links and a separate listing for online and on demand classes. Please use the membership update form to have your details listed on the WTQA website.

  • Members may use the WTQA Logo on promotional and corporate materials. Membership of industry associations gives confidence and credibility to potential customers - students and corporate entities alike. Please let everyone know that you are backed by WTQA with an Approved Organisation or an Approved Instructor status, by proudly displaying the WTQA Logo.

  • Students of the Organisation Member benefit as Subsidiary Members.

  • Members are entitled to two voting representatives nominated by the school.

  • Listed fees cover both representatives and students of the Organisation Member as Subsidiary Members of WTQA.

Fees (renew yearly):

  • Organisation Membership with up to 20 students/members: $70.00

  • Organisation Membership with Weapons Exemption up to 20 students/members: $80.00

  • Organisation Membership with more than 20 students/members: $100.00

  • Organisation Membership with Weapons Exemption more than 20 students/members: $120.00

Before completing this application you need the following:

  • A Proposer and Seconder - Names and their WTQA Membership numbers

  • 2 Voting Representatives

  • Specified Senior or Chief Instructor

  • Detailed resume of your Wushu, Tai Chi and/or Qigong practice.

  • Professional Indemnity & Public Risk Insurance Certificate.

  • First Aid Certificate.

  • Working With Children Check is required for instructors teaching children

  • Completed and signed copy of the WTQA Code of Conduct.

  • If applying for Weapons Class Exemption, both representatives are required to provide:

    • Completed and signed copy (including initialing each page) of the GIC Orders.

    • Prohibited Person declaration - either a Statutory Declaration or a Police Check (to practice, possess or carry a Wushu or Tai Chi Sword).

    • Photo ID may be required.
