WTQA Members’ Webinar

Qigong – Restoring Natural Harmony – Transition from Autumn to Winter, Metal to Water

  • Presented by Simon Blow

  • Thursday 5th June 10am to 11am

In this interactive webinar Simon will share basic theory and give practical applications of Wu Xing 五 行 or Five Element Qigong exercises to help harmonise the internal organs, to restore energy and find inner peace.

Qigong is one of the components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has a long proud history of four to five thousand years. The basic principles of Yang Sheng 養 生 or nurturing life were outlined in the famous book Huángdì Nèijīng 黄 帝 内 经 or The Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon of Chinese Medicine. These ancient principles are still used today and are the foundation of Traditional Chinese Culture, Medicine, Taijiquan, Wushu and Qigong.

We as human beings are an integral part of the universe, we are not separate from it, but are one component of it. From this holistic viewpoint we are influenced by the changing seasons, how it affects our energy, emotions and our quality of life.
