2023 Festival Highlights

All in Tai Chi 24-Form

The 21st Wushu Tai Chi & Qigong Australia Festival was held on 24th September 2023. As part of the opening ceremony everyone joined together to practise Tai Chi 24-Form – competitors, official and audience members. The whole event was a great joy.

Teams Competition

WTQA Workshop - Sun Style Xingyi & Yiquan

The workshop is conducted by Master Yue Guan and Master Li Bin located in the HongWu Taiji school in Shenzhen Province, China. Workshop Content: 1. The basic principle and training methods of Sun style Xingyiquan. (LI BIN) 2. The practice method of Yiquan (Dachengquan) JiJi Zhuang (combat posture) and Shili (strength testing). (YUE GUAN)

Qigong Practice for Martial Arts, Fitness and Health Q+A

The panelists were (in order of appearance) Master Su Rule, Master Eng Chor Khor, Master Terry Lim and Master Liu Deming. The event was hosted by WTQA Committee members Sam Au and Mark West.

Better Practice Forum

This event was held on 2nd Oct 2022 via Zoom to discuss Better Practices for WTQA in particular the following areas: Business practices and service to members; Research and training; Events and publicity, Communication; and External relations.
